The manufacturer of rubber insulated low-voltage and mediumvoltage cables extends the J-Flex APS solution already in use for planning and scheduling processes, to the J-Flex MES solution for manufacturing execution.
A decision which confirms the strategic partnership with Tecnest and Aristoncavi.
Founded in 1958, today Aristoncavi is one of the most important independent manufacturers of rubber insulated low-voltage and mediumvoltage cables.
Since its foundation it has grown up to the present 35.000 sqm, due to a recent expansion and reallocation of the manufacturing sites and warehouses, shared between the two production units dedicated to the manufacture of conductors and electric cables, for different applications.

Flex PSC is both a technical configurator solution for the development od items, BOMs and cycles and a sales quotation solution for product's options definition and price quotation.
Thanks to this dual functionality, it is possible to create BOMs and production cycles, also considering the constraints among product attributes, and estimate the product costs, with the same tool. moreover, in case of made-to-order products, thanks to the integration with FLEX OPM sales module, it is possibile to generate an automatic quotation for the final customer.

FLEX PSC presents features for the configuration of single product and of products with multilevel BOMs, by answering to questions related to specific rules. Thanks to these advanced features, J-Flex PSC is an important tool both for MTS companies with standard products characterized by different attributes or composable, and for MTO companies, to easily define BOMs and production cycles and estimate costs and the sales quaotion for the final customer.

Thanks to FLEX modular architecture, the FLEX PSC solution can be either used in compliance with other FLEX applications or can be easily integrated with the existing company ERP.
These new features answer to IT managers and IT operators' needs in terms of:
Here below the main role-based features and tools available in FLEX suite:
The FLEX Advanced Dashboards provide performance analysis features to easily and interactively analyze data stored in the FLEX database and therefore evaluate the performance of your company's operational processes (planning, production, sales, purchase, logistics, costs).

Ambitious projects, in Italy and abroad, are closing the year 2012 for Tecnest.
Tecnest Customer Saira Europe, a company leader in train interiors' design and manufacturing decided to extend the J-Flex APS solution, already in use in the italian plant, to the Baroda Plant, in India.
A choice which confirms the partnership between Tecnest and the Saira Group and which represents a new international challenge for Tecnest!

A new project abroad, this time in France, for Tecnest.
The Tecnomaster Group, one of the most important Italian companies in the Printed Circuit Board industry with subsidiaries in France, Germany, Hong Kong, commissioned the extension of the J-Flex system (already in use in the Italian headoffice) to the French plant.
The new project will include the implementation of both the APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and MES (Manufacturing Exectuion System) solutions, in order to manage planning, scheduling and execution processes in the Paris plant.

The new year started with great projects and good future perspectives for Tecnest at international level.
After the successful implementation of the J-Flex APS and MES solutions in the Lucca headquarter, Tecnest's Customer Fabio Perini Spa took the decision to extend this solution to all group sites in Italy, Brazil and China.
Fabio Perini is part of the Körber PaperLink group and it is a leading company specialized in machinery for the tissue industry.
The manufacturing plants are in Italy (Lucca and Bologna), in Brazil and in China.
According to the project plan, the J-Flex software solution will be firstly implemented in the Bologna and in the brazilian plants. As a second step, the solution will be extended to the chinese site.
This is an important and challenging opportunity both for Tecnest and for Fabio Perini which strengthens the existing strategic partnership between the two companies.

Akrapovic, world leader manufacturer of top-quality exhaust systems for motorcycles, sports cars and carbon parts, chose Tecnest to improve production scheduling through the J-Flex APS software solution.
The company headquarter and main plant is based in Slovenia and produces exhaust systems for important motorcycles and sport cars' brands such as Honda, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW.
On the October issue of Woode, Bellotti, Tecnest customer working in the Wood industry, explains the main objectives, steps and benefits of the new J-Flex information system, implemented by Tecnest.
The article describes the different project's stages which included the implementation of the J-Flex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for data collection and monitoring and, later, the set up of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), both synchronized in real-time one with each other.
In the future Bellotti will also introduce the APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) Module of the J-Flex suite.
The article highlights how, thanks to the J-Flex solution, Bellotti had the opportunity to improve its production process efficiency, by assuring an overview on the business processes and coordination among the different product divisions.
